Dancing upon the damp landscapes

Chemicals instead of presents
To find the right shade
Or at least a glade
Where the air could change color

I was aware of the looming boredom

I waited for a glance

I've used these same glasses
To find it before
Deep in the halls
It dissolved into a painting too familiar

So I set your hair on fire
Even though really
I wanted you to follow me
All the way down
